Is there a way I can use a word processor to make a genealogy chart?

I need to make a geniology chart for a book I’m writing, and I think the simplest way to do this would be by using a word processor. Is there a way to make a chart like this? It wouldn’t need to be anything fancy.

   Most of the major word processors, Word, Open Office, Word Perfect, have drawing packages. You can create a chart with them without a problem
