Just google the Mesopotamians, Iraqis, Iranians, etc. You have two choices: trace through histories of these various peoples; or find someone from there and have a DNA test done. Either way, you will find that they ARE descended from the Mesopotamians, including Babylonians, Sumerians, Assyrians and Armenians. Or, you could try the National Geographics Genotype Programs...Just google it, as they have several websites.
