Many counties have people who will look up obits out of the goodness of their hearts. You'll need her exact death date, since no one is going to wade through a month's worth of microfilm unless you pay them. The obit may mention her married name. It might even mention her parents. If she is survived by one or more brothers, that will be a clue too. It won't be a certainty because obits don't distinguish between brothers and half brothers.
