Brynnistic asked:

I’m tracing my family tree and found a great great great grandmother in the SSDI (Social Security Death Index) but it has her married name. I’d like to know her maiden name so that I can continue tracing the line.

Az-u-can-see asked:

Is there any genealogical connection between the modern day Iraqi people (Muslims and others) and ancient mesopotamians such as Babylonains, Sumerians, Assyrians and Arameans? some modern Iraqis try to link their selves to these ancient people, so is it true or just a myth? since most of modern Iraq’s population speaks Arabic as a mother tounge.

My mom recently passed away and left 4 file drawers of research. I don’t have a use for this information but would a Genealogy Society or something else use them?
