Cherry pie asked:

I’ve been googling all morning trying to find a BLANK, fill-in, (vintage, if possible) genealogy book. I’ve been to a local store that sometimes has them but have had no luck. I keep getting results for books people have wrote about genealogy, but I want a blank one so I can fill my family tree and have pictures in it.
PLEASE HELP!
Thanks.

I am getting a project underway this year to make genealogy information free to anybody searching online. I need volunteers in ANY area of the UK who would be willing to help me in a project to catalogue old graveyards. This is purely a voluntary venture would you help me by sparing a few hours of your time when you can? I can be emailed via YA if you are interested. You don’t need any experience just the ability to use a pen or pencil. It does’nt matter if you can only spare an hour or two now and again. Every minute would be precious to me and I would be extremely grateful.

Thank you.
I checked, loads happening in the USA but little information like I plan to put together available on their site…. if being honest didn’t find any at least not in the part of the country I live. I am not bothered what is happening worldwide, I am keen to get the info online asap for here our little island.

How would I go about doing genealogy research for people in Iran?

My Grandpa is from Iran. How would I go about doing research for ancestors in Iran? I am unaware of how the name system works in Iran. Is it more difficult than doing it on Europeans? How does their vital record system work? How far back did they keep records? How far, if you have done it, have you gone back?
